I am a seller on ebay yes but as i know that in the long term Tax men will be watching eBay and you might not think maybe that extra phone you sell or that extra car you sell may make you fall under the rader but it might.

Now let us not confuse the facts- As a seller i am slso a buyer i also bid in the last minute on items that i dont read fully and hope the seller will forgive the fact i didnt see one thing or another that i should have read but you know whats funny i hate it when it happens to me cause i still end up paying ebay for the listing fee even if my buyer doesnt pay. They will only give me my final valuation fee back which clearly is not fair.

many people know that now in the short term the real plan for all this is to get info on Businesses selling on eBay and not paying taxes and i for one agree you should not sell and not pay taxes

The problem is ebay should say this to the general public directly as its a bit strange that recently many thousand users not specifiying their status either personal seller or Business seller got the notice from ebay requesting that they Do this before 1st of May IMO this is deadline day for many ebay users as many business sellers will cease trade on the site or prices will go up by 17.5% on top of the fact that ebay is taking a cut too

In the end the people that are really going to get hurt from all these changes are the buyers directly in their pocket so what eBay is doing is saying we will give you the chance to give people negative so that you don’t leave the site and we will even stop them from Giving you negative back

My suggestions to anyone is make sure you register several eBay accounts ( you are allowed to have multiple eBay accounts as long as they dont interact)

My suggestions is make sure your selling volume on any of your multiple accounts doesnt go beyond a certain amount that way you dont get any unwanted problems Or BILLS

Either you do all that or you go sign up for www.ebid.net and then on the 1st of may move your sales there you can even sign up to ebid list all your stock and then if your item on ebay sells take it off the other site

In my personal opinion i paid half of the total fees paypal charges me to Google Check out

People dont know about their options this is why they stick with what they know

From Google if you recieve payment of £53.99 google takes 0.93p

If you recieve the same amount on paypal you lose a whooping £2.04

eBay has x6 times more than the nearest competitior but the change is clear for all to see before this sellers revolt i am sure ebay was doing alot better.

Now The sellers are angry the dont like being mistreated with all the anger i would say maybe people should just slowly go to the next Auction site the same way eBay wants them to do with the sellers. You see with less sellers on ebay it is only going to get worst for buyers cause finally they will have to respect the buyers they have left or risk having no one to buy from or be rude to.

I made it clear i favour ebid for two reasons they are international and they offer lifetime free auctions many alternatives offer short term plans ebid has a great structure in place you pay one off fee you never pay listing fee ever again you pay commison of 1% and Auction upgrades like feature plus and things like that. that is obviously where they will eventually make their money from.

And ebid has an international site that has all coutries actively using their system so its a well made ebay alternative already

All the other alternatives are mainly focused on US business mainly or they dont have international sites which eventually if you wanna go global you should have. Or they just dont have the following. I just wish they would invest in some advertising so more people can know they are about.

More access to information of seller of quantitiy goods by the tax man made easier. Consider this before the tax man would have had to Contact ebay and then get your info and then check you out.  (remember for all of this firstly you would have had to be selling enough to be a power seller which isnt hard to do these days)

Now you consider this when your details are in your auctions (via the new display rules coming into effect soon) all you have to do is just copy and paste that info into a computer run the check and that is it. TaxMan wont have to request it which makes it more of a financialy viable option in which to check small buisiness.
Now if your as small time seller on ebay selling two or 3 High value goods per month you qualify for Power seller and Tax man must get a cut or you might find your self in Jail (yes it is serious duh!)

Many people selling on ebay dont know you have to pay tax on certain amount beyond your countries selected tax free zone now with ebay forcing everyone to register as a business i wonder if we would now have to sell like a business and pay tax like one.

I see Dark Days Ahead and strangly enough i dont see the bright ones on the horizon i think investors are always the first to dump you as a business

If i was an investor i would buy stocks in ebay alternatives right now cause i know the stocks would go crazy as more and more people are using alternatives

Yesterday eBays Total site traffic was down stock valuation was done and then….

Well as you would normally do ebay.com decided to run what i would say thousands of Test auctions that would end with very high amount of sales figures and a much better listing total. That will stop them Stock traders from saying eBay stock is a “sell”

Now dont get me wrong i am all up for making some major test work to ensure that the auction site that us buyers pay for is working fine but when you consider that site traffic was down stock price was severly compremised you start to hear the alarm bells if your an investor with your 401k Well invested in eBay stock might have to become a coal miner.

So to calm you down i will activate Auction “Testing” that way you as an investor you dont know that people arent using my site, and you dont go and make any drastic moves if your the Stock trader or fund managment(Up high is it a plane or an investor?)  well you start to buy test auctions as real auctions well considering that the auction are being counted as part of the gross number of items sold you would have to as that is part of the tools that are used to calculate the total number of new or active listings on ebay.

I would also like to point out to people that the Catagory selected by ebay in which to run its test is particularly interesting, if youy know the medved site you will know what i mean.

See all the images your self here there were 1000s of auctions like this put up no doubt when the estimation of what they made would be done these same test auctions would be calculated i really fear for the investors who are investing in company “testing” like this at a time when site traffic dropped alot and Dutch Bank decleared the stock a sell stock eBay find it vital to run such interesting test in the .com

You will all also be happy to know that eBay Uk didnt find it at all nessesary to perfom these test hmmmm ????

Ebay Explains

Am I just another angry eBay user?

Well you decide. Over the years I have paid rising fees and lost more and more rights as a seller now I think its enough. you have probably read that eBay is planning to remove the sellers rights to leave bad/good buyers a negetive feedback and forcing all powersellers to provide registered company information. well i have decided to say Google, where are you ? so i would like to send google the total amount of comments i get on this site so they can see we would all love an ebay alternative from google featuring their google check out

You can’t leave people feedback and the reason is – it’s for my own good according to eBay.  

I don’t think so. I think if I get done by a charge back on a credit card and I cant warn others and I have to give the almost anonymous bidder a positive feedback as well I will kick myself in the head.

Don’t forget the buyers that simply don’t care to read an auction ever.  

Personally I think this action is just for blanketing claims made by the bbc show watchdog in its eBay special last year and as a result of that one sided show we the sellers are going to be the victims 

 An online auction is not a shopping mall it’s an online auction house. You get a discount due to the fact that you also run the added potential risk(no matter how small).

Too many fancy lawyers and you start thinking an auction house is not an auction house.  

Today they gag the sellers from airing their negative views about bad buyers what’s next?
